If you don't know what bath bombs are, here are some things that they do/are:
Bath bombs are a powdery mixture in a shape, you put them in your bath, they fizz in your bath, and they can have scents and/or colours!
Learn how to make Bath Bombs with this easy step-by-step tutorial. You'll be enjoying a relaxing bath in no time!
1 cup of baking soda
1/2 cup of citric acid (It is safe to put this in a bath bomb)
1/2 cup of epsom salt
1/2 cup of cornstarch
Food colouring or soap colouring (optional)
2 1/2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil
3/4 tablespoon of water
12-15 drops of essential oil (optional)
Bath bomb molds (you can get a whole set of molds here https://www.amazon.ca/Kyerivs-Hemispheres-Starfish-Scallop-Handmade/dp/B076FNXRKF/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=bath+bomb+molds&qid=1594519158&sr=8-7)
In a medium sized bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients (including the colouring). Add as much or as little coloring to achieve desired look (optional) Whisk to combine.
In a separate small bowl, mix together the wet ingredients.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones very slowly. (This is very important; otherwise you will activate the citric acid which is used to create the fizzing affect.) Mix until combined, and the ingredients look like wet sand.
Fill each half of the mold, packing the mixture in slightly until it's overflowing just barely. Press the halves together firmly. Let the filled mold sit for one minute. Lightly tap the mold and gently pull it apart to remove the bath bomb. Let the bath bombs dry for at least 12 hours before enjoying in the tub. (I recommend that you keep your bath bomb(s) in a container or bag when you are not using it/them.
I really hope that you enjoyed this super cool DIY, and I hope you'll have a fun relaxing bath!
